8 Senators Call for Probe of ‘Arbitrary’ Reassignment of Federal Scientists

Following a federal scientist’s whistleblower complaint last week alleging that the Trump administration reassigned him to an accounting post for speaking out about climate change, eight U.S. senators have asked the deputy inspector general at the Interior Department to investigate the treatment of scientists in the department.
