After three EPA employees voiced concerns about the agency, federal records show that a lawyer working with a Republican campaign research group that specializes in finding damaging information on political rivals submitted requests for copies of their emails, according to a New York Times investigation. The EPA has also hired a firm affiliated with the group to track press coverage.
