The Center for Biological Diversity has sued the federal government for failing to release records detailing greenhouse gas emissions and steps taken to meet a goal to keep the global temperature rise under 2 degrees Celsius. The U.S. is required to release the information every two years under the Paris climate agreement; the latest report was due Jan. 1.
