Less Coal Key to Britain’s Emissions Falling 3% in 2017, Government Says

Britain’s greenhouse gas emissions fell 3 percent last year largely because of less coal-fired power generation, government data shows. It marks the fifth consecutive yearly decline for Europe’s second-largest greenhouse gas emitter.
