USGS Releases Flood Maps from Harvey: Largest U.S. Rainfall Event on Record

Hurricane Harvey was the most significant rainfall event on record in the U.S., both in scope and peak rainfall amounts, the U.S. Geological Survey said Monday in releasing new innundation maps and flood details. Rainfall exceeded 60 inches in some locations.
