EPA Reverses Course on Glider Trucks, Says It Will Enforce Stricter Pollution Limits

The EPA has changed course on enforcing pollution controls super-polluting trucks known as “gliders,” reversing one of the last actions of the former Administrator Scott Pruitt. Acting Administrator Andrew Wheeler said the agency only suspends enforcement of rules on rare occasions, and the concerns raised by glider manufacturers are not enough in this case.
