The Pentagon is the latest to criticize EPA’s proposed policy to block the use of some scientific studies in agency policymaking. Health and science officials also oppose the EPA proposal, long sought by fossil fuel interests, which could potentially be used to weaken health-based standards for limiting pollution caused by burning coal, oil and natural gas.
