U.S. Expected to Fall Short of Paris Climate Targets by One-Third, Report Says

A new study supported by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg suggests that the United States will fall short by about one-third on its emissions reductions targets in the Paris climate agreement. The report predicts that by 2025, the U.S. will have cut greenhouse gas emissions to about 17 percent below 2005 levels.
