Idaho Power, which serves 560,000 customers in southern Idaho and eastern Oregon, announced it plans to shift to 100 percent clean energy sources by 2045. Only six years ago, 40 percent of the investor-owned utility’s power came from coal, the Idaho Statesman reports.
