The speed of climate disruption is outpacing animals’ capacity to adapt, a new study found. Scientists reviewed 10,090 abstracts and used data from 71 published studies, finding that climate change poses a threat to the vast majority of species. “The probability that none of the study species is at risk is virtually zero,” the authors write.
