The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe unveiled a new solar farm, part of an effort to power all 12 reservation communities in North and South Dakota. The project “pays tribute to everyone who’s come to Standing Rock and all their hard work and tireless dedication toward protecting our people and land,” said Cody Two Bears, the project leader.
