EasyJet, Europe’s second-biggest discount airline, plans to become the first carrier to offset carbon emissions from all its flights, responding to outcry over the aviation industry’s contribution to climate change. The company will spend an estimated $32 million on projects that include planting trees and protecting against deforestation.
