Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Chairman Neil Chatterjee has rejected a request from several states to pause approvals for new energy infrastructure projects such as natural gas pipelines, saying the projects were too important to the country’s infrastructure. The states had argued the pandemic would interfere with those affected by the projects from being able to make public comments.
