House Democratic leadership announced they will vote on a landmark conservation bill by the end of July, blaming the delay on a handful of Republicans who oppose it. The Great American Outdoors Act, which would dedicate $900 million a year in revenue garnered from oil and gas leases to conservation efforts, was overwhelmingly passed by the Senate last week.
