Emissions of Nitrous Oxide, a Climate Super-Pollutant, Are Rising Fast on a Worst-Case Trajectory

It’s a greenhouse gas that’s 300 times more powerful at heating the climate than carbon dioxide and emissions of it are rising faster than previously thought. Those are the conclusions of a new study published in the science journal Nature, which found that rising levels of nitrous oxide in the atmosphere are consistent with a worst-case scenario trajectory for climate change.
