Jeff Bezos Announces the First Winners of His $10 Billion Climate-Change Pledge

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who earlier this year pledged to donate $10 billion of his own money to help fight climate change, on Monday announced initial grants for 16 different environmental groups, totalling $791 million. Among the recipients were the Environmental Defense Fund, Natural Resources Defense Council and the Union of Concerned Scientists.
