Researchers show where and how plants detect the nutrient potassium
A research team has now shown for the first time where and how potassium is sensed in the root and which signalling pathways coordinate the adaptation of root growth and potassium uptake to maintain the plant’s potassium supply.
The extremely rare cave-dwelling albino fish with no eyes, the Mexican blindcat, has previously only been known to exist in Mexico.
