At Los Angeles County’s request, a judge last week had temporarily blocked the reopening of the Aliso Canyon gas storage facility, source of the biggest methane leak in U.S. history. But over the weekend, a state appeals court judge ordered that stay lifted following opposition from Southern California Gas Company.
