Scientists: IPCC Process Takes Too Long, Needs to Be More Agile to Keep Up with Science

The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change issues a new blockbuster climate assessment about every seven years. As the IPCC meets this week in Montreal to plan its sixth assessment, several top scientists are urging changes, saying the process is just too slow and constant updates are needed instead to keep pace with science.
