An Aggressive Push to 100 Percent Renewable Energy Could Save Americans Billions, Study Says

An aggressive push towards 100 percent renewable energy would save Americans as much as $321 billion in energy costs while also slashing planet-heating emissions, according to a new report. That’s a savings of $2,500 per year for every U.S. household. More than 40 percent of energy emissions come from appliances in and around the home, the report says.
