Fr Sean McDonagh SSC, President of An Taisce, will convene our AGM online at 11am on Saturday 19th September 2020.

If you are a member you will receive an AGM pack by post or email. This contains your:

  4. Council Nomination Form
  5. AGM Motions

You will receive meeting details including Zoom link and user instructions. Voting procedures and passwords will also be sent to you in advance. Please ensure your membership is up to date so that you can vote.

If you cannot attend the AGM online and you must attend in person please note that we will have a very limited number of places at Tailors’ Hall in accordance with the government guidelines. This is obviously subject to change.

Statement of Accounts

Our 2019 Audit is being carried out by Woods & Partners. When the financial accounts are ready they will be published here for your review. Members who are registered to attend the AGM will be notified when the accounts are published.

Motions and relevant documents

There will be a motion to change the An Taisce Constitution in order to help us comply with charity and company law and in order to help us run An Taisce more effectively. The text of the proposed new Constitution will be published here soon. Comments from members on this document are most welcome. The text is subject to change while it is reviewed by our company lawyer, Fred Logue, as well as the Charities Regulator. Everyone who registers to attend the AGM will be notified when the draft Constitution is published and updated.

Voting at the AGM

Voting will take place using an app that we are currently setting up and testing. Members will need to register securely to use the app and to vote. Detailed instructions will be provided here and members will be able to ask questions about the app in the run up to the AGM.
