With the deadline Friday for comments on the Trump administration’s plan to freeze auto fuel economy standards, California’s attorney general told reporters his state intends to fight it, including the administration’s plan to revoke California’s authority to set more stringent rules. “They are grossly derelict in not trying to move the dial forward,” Xavier Becerra said.
