Cause of Keystone Pipeline Spill Worries South Dakota Officials as Oil Flow Resumes

Federal regulators believe damage during construction of the 7-year-old Keystone Pipeline led to its recent 210,000-gallon spill in South Dakota. State regulators are concerned that could mean other parts of the pipeline are at risk of spilling, too, and potentially contaminating the state’s groundwater.
