Lebanon’s ancient cedars have lived through wars and empires, their numbers shrinking all the while. Now, climate change threatens the few that remain, some of which have are more than 1,000 years old. As temperatures rise, the cedars’ comfort zone is moving up the mountain to higher altitudes, with little room to go.
