Frontline/Columbia Journalism School Fellowships
The Heartland Institute, a libertarian think tank that denies basic climate change science, will send the organization’s book, “Why Scientists Disagree About Global Warming,” as well as a DVD denying the human role in climate change, to more than 200,000 K-12 science teachers. The aim of the misinformation campaign is to sow uncertainty about the reality of global warming science.
