Coal Lobbyist Becomes EPA’s No. 2 Official, Just Behind Pruitt

The Senate voted to confirm Andrew Wheeler, a former lobbyist for Murray Energy, as deputy director of the Environmental Protection Agency. If embattled EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt leaves, Wheeler would become interim head of the agency.
