Coastal Communities Sue 37 Oil, Gas and Coal Companies Over Climate Change

In a case reminiscent of the tobacco lawsuits of the 1990s, two California counties and a city are suing 37 oil, gas, and coal companies, including Exxon. They allege that the fossil fuel companies knew about the risks created by their products and failed to warn consumers.
