Two environmental groups are suing the Coast Guard over its ability to adequately respond to a Great Lakes oil spill. The lawsuit uses public comments from a former Coast Guard commandant to say that the military branch is not ready to deal with a worst-case spill from Enbridge Line 5, a controversial oil pipeline that runs beneath the Straits of Mackinac.
