Espinosa: Africa Needs Support to Protect Biodiversity and Climate

UN Climate Change News, 13 November 2018 – At the opening session of the African Ministerial Summit on Biodiversity in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, on 13 November, the Executive Secretary of UN Climate Change, Patricia Espinosa, said African governments needed support to take action to address climate change and biodiversity loss, and highlighted the importance of finalizing the Paris Agreement Work Program at COP24 to achieve these goals.
