Chase Iron Eyes, a prominent figure in the Dakota Access Pipeline protests, pleaded guilty Tuesday to misdemeanor disorderly conduct in an agreement with prosecutors that dropped felony charges of inciting a riot. He had planned to use a “necessity defense” if his case went to trial.
