A new study by a team of 63 doctors, public health officials and scientists says that “the human symptoms of climate change are unequivocal and potentially irreversible.” The study showed heat waves, malnutrition and mosquito- and tick-borne illnesses are all increasing risks, especially for the poor and elderly. Cutting carbon emissions is the most effective way to address them, they said.
