The Center for Biological Diversity, a conservation group, is seeking documents from the Trump administration to explain why the Fifth National Climate Assessment has already been delayed. The report, which is released every four years and summarizes scientific benchmarks on climate change, was due in 2022. But the website for the report states it will be delivered by the end of 2023.
