Temperature records tumbled across South Australia on Thursday as a second heat wave in a month baked the region. Adelaide was experiencing the hottest day on record for a major Australian city at 46.6°C (115.9°F) and smaller towns were even hotter. With the heat waves and a prolonged drought have come scores of wildfires.
