House Votes to Denounce Carbon Taxes. Where Was the Climate Solutions Caucus?

The U.S. House passed a non-binding resolution today declaring that carbon taxes harm the economy, only days before a GOP lawmaker is set to introduce a carbon fee bill. Only four of the 43 Republican members of the chamber’s Climate Solutions Caucus voted against the resolution. Had the entire caucus joined Democrats in opposing the measure, it would have failed.
