A home energy storage pilot project is closer to becoming a reality in New Hampshire. Through the project, customers would get subsidized home batteries in exchange for letting Liberty Utilities use those batteries to counter system peaks. The results would help in determining how effective home energy devices can be in reducing overall grid costs.
