Obama Sees New Front in Climate Change Battle: Agriculture

Former U.S. President Barack Obama in a recent speech at the Seeds & Chips conference in Milan spoke about agriculture’s contribution to greenhouse gas emissions and how those emissions are already taking a toll on food production globally, the New York Times reports.

“Our changing climate is already making it more difficult to produce food,” Obama said. “We’ve already seen shrinking yields and rising food prices.”
