Pacific leaders are calling on Australia to immediately stop new coal mining and to abandon plans to use carry-over credits to meet its Paris climate targets. In a statement called the Nadi Bay declaration, leaders warned that some of their countries could be uninhabitable as soon as 2030 due to climate change.
