A draft permit for a proposed coal plant in southern Indiana says it would spew millions of tons of greenhouse gases and dozens of tons of cancer-causing chemicals into the air each year, the Indianapolis Star reports. But state regulators say those those emissions would not exceed any legal limits, meaning the findings likely aren’t a roadblock to construction.
