Protests Target a ‘Carbon Bomb’ Linking Two Major Pipelines Outside Boston

Activists last week temporarily disrupted the construction of a natural gas compressor near Boston by sitting in the path of a concrete truck. One environmental science professor who participated in the protest called the facility “a carbon bomb,” estimating it would emit as much carbon each year as one million vehicles.
