EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and his aides have kept secret calendars to hide controversial meetings or calls with industry representatives, according to former EPA official. Kevin Chmielewski, Pruitt’s former deputy chief of staff for operations, said EPA staff met routinely to scrub calendars of certain of entries and there were many examples of meetings that took place but did not appear on any publicly available calendar.
