Sea Level Rise Is Speeding Up in Parts of the Southeastern U.S.

From 2011 to 2015, sea levels in “hot spots” along the coast of Florida and other parts of the Southeastern coast rose six times faster than the long-term rate of global increase. University of Florida researchers say understanding these patterns may allow them to predict tidal flooding more accurately.
