Southern California Wildfire Burning Out of Control, and Will for Days to Come

A massive wildfire in Southern California raged out of control Thursday, with officials saying they expect the blaze to continue through the weekend. The Bond Fire erupted Wednesday night about 50 miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles, consuming more than 7,200 acres with no containment as of Thursday. Climate change is likely driving wildfire seasons to be more severe, our reporting found.
