After the world’s appetite for natural gas grew last year at the fastest pace since 2010, growth is expected to slow down, according to the International Energy Agency. Over the next five years, the agency expects demand to increase by an average of 1.6 percent per year, returning to levels before the unexpected growth period starting in 2017.
