Wednesday night’s vice presidential debate between Sen. Kamala Harris and Vice President Mike Pence lacked any substantial debate at all in regards to climate change. Pence falsely asserted that Joe Biden planned to ban fracking and compared his $2 trillion climate plan to the Green New Deal. Harris, for her part, sidestepped the chance to detail what Biden’s plan would actually do.
