Trump Administration Issues Its First Arctic Offshore Drilling Approval — to an Italian Oil Company

The Trump administration gave the green light to an Italian oil company to drill exploratory wells off the coast of Alaska. The approval comes as the administration tries to overturn former President Barack Obama’s ban on drilling in federal Arctic waters.
