The White House has removed the scientist responsible for the National Climate Assessment, a government mandated report on the latest climate research meant to act as a roadmap for policymakers, the New York Times reports. Michael Kuperberg is expected to be replaced by David Legates, a researcher who has spent his career disputing climate science, our reporting found.
