The Trump administration’s plan to boost coal and nuclear power plants could cost between $9.7 billion and $17.2 billion per year, according to a new study from The Brattle Group. The authors looked at several scenarios for the yet-unreleased plan, all of which would far exceed the $4 billion estimate made by a pro-coal group.
