Twice as many birds at a creek after water restored
A small sliver of wildness is having a big impact on the birds, fish and wildlife. Birds at Putah Creek have more than doubled since water was restored to the creek in 2000.
The extremely rare cave-dwelling albino fish with no eyes, the Mexican blindcat, has previously only been known to exist in Mexico.
