Two Farmworkers Come Into Their Own, Escaping Low Pay, Rigid Hours and a High Risk of Covid-19

The nation’s lowest paid essential workers—farm laborers—are contracting the coronavirus in agricultural hubs all over the country. Agricultural workers are three times more likely to contract Covid-19 than workers in other industries, one report found.
