A U.S. judge dismissed a lawsuit aimed at shutting down the Navajo Generating Station and adjacent mine in northwestern Arizona, citing tribal sovereignty. The plant, which is owned by a corporation created by the Navajo Nation, is scheduled to close in 2019.
